The entry-level model with strong value for money: enclosed fibreglass body, chassis developed with AL-KO, tilt bed and drive-on rear door as standard.
With a 4.57 m internal length, the AST-1 is the right low-bed transporter for single-seaters, smaller sports cars and classic cars. Its compact dimensions and 900 kg unladen weight also make it suitable for smaller towing vehicles and motorhomes. Despite the moderate price, it comes with a tilt bed and drive-on rear door as standard.
Robust and well engineered: the AST-1 chassis was developed with AL-KO and current CAD technology, and the fibreglass body is rigid and fully enclosed.
Enclosed and robust: the fibreglass (glass-reinforced plastic) body protects your car from adverse weather, stone chips and prying eyes.
The rear door doubles as a drive-on loading ramp as standard. Rear access 185 cm wide and 172 cm high.
Designed with AL-KO using the latest CAD technology, galvanised and built for low weight.
The body tilts and lays the rear door flat on the ground: a loading angle of just 5°, even for low-clearance vehicles. Optional assistor ramps for an extremely low loading angle.

The AST-1 has 457 cm internal length, 190 cm internal width and 172 cm internal height; rear access is 185 cm wide and 172 cm high. That’s enough for single-seaters, smaller sports cars and classic cars. For unusual dimensions, we’re happy to check with you.

With 900 kg unladen weight and a 2,700 kg gross vehicle weight (GVW), the AST-1 also suits smaller towing vehicles and motorhomes. What matters is the towing capacity of your vehicle. We’re happy to check this with you.
A category B licence covers car and trailer combinations up to 3,500 kg maximum authorised mass (MAM), code 96 (B96) up to 4,250 kg and category BE up to 7,000 kg. An AST-1 with 2,700 kg GVW behind a typical towing vehicle therefore usually needs code 96 or category BE. We’re happy to check this for your towing vehicle. For guidance only.
